Senator Debbie Stabenow: Liberal Talk Radio Sucks and That's Not Fair

This is a letter from a former Michigan resident to Senator Debbie Stabenow for his asinine position on fairness on talk radio. That pinhead is trying to even the playing because she (and many other liberal nutjobs) think that it's unfair that liberal talk radio is vapid and devoid of anything resembling logic or non-emotional verbal regurgitation.

Enjoy:

Dear Mrs. Stabenow,

I was born and raised in Michigan. My father was decorated Michigan State Trooper, an incredibly upstanding contributor to our community in central Michigan, and was instrumental in the founding of the Michigan Committee for the Prevention of Child Abuse. I am proud to have come from the Great State of Michigan.

I would like to express my absolute disgust at your attempts to "even" the playing field of talk radio. Keep your hands off of the programming going out over the airwaves. How dare you infringe on the First Amendment rights of U.S. citizens. Your remarks regarding fairness on talk radio or broadcasting in general are the single most ridiculous ideas I have ever heard and go against everything that makes America such an amazing country. Your actions are an embarrassment to those of us who still proudly proclaim our pride as natives (former and present) of Michigan.

What could you possibly be thinking? The First Amendment of the Constitution of the United State specifically declares our rights as citizens to say and to listen to whatever we like. In no way whatsoever may you or anyone else infringe on those rights by limiting or even dictating what kinds of talk radio shows we citizens may listen to. You should be ashamed of yourself.

If you or anyone else does not like what you hear on conservative talk radio, THEN TURN THE CHANNEL! YOU have that right, as well! It isn't rocket science.

How on earth can you make statements like you have when your husband is an executive for a liberal radio network?! I have to assume, given your position as an elected official, that you have a reasonable amount of intelligence, which would them presume to give you an understanding of what a, "conflict of interest" is.

No offense to your husband, but the network for which he works has horrible programming and serves no purpose for those of us who are conservative in our political views. The content is vapid and offensive to conservative values and sensibilities. There is absolutely nothing whatsoever unfair about a network airing pathetic liberal drivel to which nobody cares to listen.

It's business. Air shows and personalities that have worth and people will listen. Air programming that is in poor taste or for which there is little or no interest and you go out of business.

Stop embarrassing proud Michigan natives all over the country and back off of your lame attempts to undermine our First Amendment rights. You should be ashamed of attempting to interfere with the air waves, especially given your husband's position with a simply unpopular radio network.

Sincerely,
Proud Former Michigan Resident
